Needle-related Fear versus Vaccination Fear, Vaccination Intention, and Declared Reasons for Avoiding Vaccination

This study seeks to analyse the relationship between needle-related fear (NF) and vaccination (VF), intention (VI), most commonly declared reasons for avoiding (RAV). The aim was expand information on subject in a pandemic context. Just before starting plan. A cross-sectional survey applied sample (N = 2,175) of adult Spanish citizens (37.60 ± 12.98 years), both sexes (women: 67.3%). Descriptive, correlational, regression analysis carried out. For NF, prevalence 5.1%, with being woman, aged 20 40 years old, without dependents charge as risk factors. NF presented low but significant relationships VF, VI, RAVs (except one related vaccine efficacy). positive negative VI. results are discussed. Actions recommended reduce VF increase
